INT. QUIET TIME ROOM - DAY
ELENA is being interviewed of how she was before, now that she is
a famous singer.

TOBIAS
So, now that you are making a lot of money,
how was your situation before you became
successful?
ELANA
Hmmm.. well I started off in a foster home
with other kids who are like my brothers and
sisters. We had this conversation of being in
a situation of like where we were feeling
less unfortunate. We wanted to have less
limits.
TOBIAS hands a picture of ELANA when she was in a foster home
with her considered siblings. ELANA takes the picture and
stares at it.
FADE OUT - FLASHBACK
ELANA looks up above the house ceiling, dreaming, with the kids
she consider siblings.
ELANA
Do you guys ever wonder how it would be
like to have money and be free?
ROSSELLE
I think about it all the time.
SANDER
Live in a big house, party on weekends, drive
a fancy car, YES!
ELANA and ROSSELLE laughs and smile at him. ROSSELLE looks
atELANA.
ROSSELLE
I mean, you can sing.. you could use that!
SANDER

Yeah, audition.. theres the X Factor, The

Voice, American Idol, Americas Got Talent,
and SING IT LOUD.
ELANA
I can, I can. (nods)
ELANA looks at the table across the couch they are on.
ELANA sees the flier for SING IT LOUD.
FADE OUT - PRESENT
ELANA looking at TOBIAS.
ELANA
I mean, you know, and even before the foster home took
me in, I was homeless, I was on the street, hopeless.
FADE OUT - FLASHBACK
ELANA is outside an alleyway, sitting down outside, leaning her
back on a post. She stares at the ground, then she look up, she
zone out for a while. She is hungry so she grabs her stomach.
After a while, she lies down the ground and cover herself with
her arm.
FADE OUT - PRESENT

ELANA
I was hungry, I thought there was no point of
living, but i still lived through those days.
TOBIAS nods and and take ELANAs hands and shook it
TOBIAS
You are a very strong woman, you lived even
when hope is gone on most days, you still
kept yourself because you knew there is
something more to this life.

ELANA
Right.
TOBIAS lifts one finger.
TOBIAS
The people you were with in foster home, how
did their life change when you became a
successful artist?

LANA
I still live with them, the only difference
from before would be the rules, the house,
and our pocket.
ELANA smiles with appreciation.
