professional learning session for your fellow staff members scheduled for May 16 th,

Dear Lizvian,
This is to confirm that you successfully completed our professional learning series,
Strong Discourse, Strong Writing. The series met from 9:00am-3:30pm on the
following dates this school year:

October 7, 2015
November 4, 2015
December 7, 2015
February 11, 2016

These sessions brought together high school teachers across districts to learn,
practice and implement research based student discourse strategies to support
stronger argument writing. Teachers worked together to incorporate the strategies
into their curriculum and track student work to measure progress. In addition to the
whole group sessions above there were in school meetings to help support the work
in each classroom and develop plans for building it out to other staff members as
the year progressed.
