Risk assessment:
Risk:
Weather being bad
Tripping over camera
Dangerous environment- field (nettles and
brambles, bees, etc.)

Costume could be unsafe, make sure she

doesnt trip or rip the fabric

Prevention
Check weather schedule beforehand and
checking the appropriate days to shoot
Make entire crew aware of camera and not
to go near it unless authorised
Scope out an area which accommodates
aesthetics and safety which is important for
the cast. If possible trim area before use,
making sur anything could hurt liv
Make sure the fabric is sewn properly and
all costume details are checked over several
times and make sure to test it out so it is
100% safe and practical to wear.

Contingency plans

Just in case something goes wrong I have come up with a back-up plan, there are several
fields surrounding the main Gillotts field, if for whatever reason I cannot film I the main
event field, I have up to 3 back up fields, each with a unique look to them for my video,

As for the outfit Ive noticed that the peacock feathers arent exactly practical for dancing
and it would be hard to keep the continuity appropriate, so in replacement of that I have
created two different kinds of outfit, the aesthetic outfit, which will be the main peacock
outfit that comes with all the feathers and the mask, and the dance outfit that will still have
the mask, but will lose all the feathers so that it is more practical to wear and dance in, in
different shots I will communicate that there are two different outfits, because it could be
hard to tell if it was my intention of it if was a continuity error.

Problems that I solved:

Problem 1: the dancer

At first it was hard to locate a dancer because I didnt know anyone who would be up for
this within this amount of notice, however after finding the courage to approach the dance
department and speak to the head of dance, she was able to point me in the right direction
and even went as far as to go and find someone within the studio who wanted to do it, and
we exchanged contact details.

Problem 2- the outfit

The outfit is a hard prospect because of the amount of tailoring skills I have, which isnt very
much, Im very adept at creating an outfit, because I have lots of ideas but not a lot of skill
to create it with
I was able to solve this by using what I do know and a very simple sewing trick to attach
feathers onto fabric, the peacock feathers will hang very low so it will make up what I need
to for the dress to look complete. Another problem was that this outfit may have been too
delicate to use in a dance sequence and like I said before it could damage the feathers so I
had to create two outfits, one that expresses the peacock in the way I liked, and exists
purely for aesthetic shots, and another outfit for when Liv is dancing so I can get tighter
shots of the movements and not worry about the feathers being in shot.

Script and actions:

Gasoline script
0:00-0:15 establishing shots in the fields, a dancer can be seen
dressed up, looking towards the camera
Alternate between mid and long shots
0:15-0:18 oriental layer is introduced in song, dancer begins to
shift around fast cuts are introduced where the beat is.
Are you insane like me? Been in pain like me?
Bought a hundred dollar bottle of champagne like me?
Just to pour that motherfucker down the drain like me?
Would you use your water bill to dry the stain like me?
Costume of dancer alternates between main peacock outfits to more practical
dancing outfit

Are you high

Do you tear
Do the people
Saying that you

enough without the Mary Jane like me?

yourself apart to entertain like me?
whisper 'bout you on the train like me?
shouldn't waste your pretty face like me?
And all the people say,

Chorus is more upbeat and violent, dance changes a scale and dancing
becomes more disjointed
"You can't wake up, this is not
You're part of a machine, you are not
With your face all made up, living
Low on self-esteem, so you run on

a dream,
a human being,
on a screen,
gasoline."

Oh, oh, oh, oh,

I think there's a flaw in my code,
Oh, oh, oh, oh,
These voices won't leave me alone,
Well my heart is gold, and my hands are cold,
Dance slows down again as it progresses into the next verse, peacock
returns.

Are you deranged like me? Are you strange like me?
Lighting matches just to swallow up the flame like me?
Do you call?

Yourself a fucking hurricane like me?

Pointing fingers cause you'll never take the blame like me?
And all the people say,
Chorus is more upbeat and violent, dance changes a scale and dancing
becomes more disjointed
"You can't wake up, this is not
You're part of a machine, you are not
