SMART GOAL: By the end of the 2015-2016 school year, 100% of my students will make measureable
Data Analysis
By midyear, students were expected to score three points higher than they did in the fall. I had two
students who scored one point higher on this placement this placement test. However, approximately
90% of my students made the required measurable growth. Two students who scored at the intensive
intervention moved to the strategic intervention level. Six of those students moved to the on grade level.
Interventions and Strategies
Continuing with daily calendar math that assesses a variety of math skills such as reading analog and
digital clocks, counting money, identifying place value, interpreting graphs, building number sense with
a hundred chart, use of ten frames and creating and extending patterns. Students will continue with
whole group and small group math instruction. Students will participate in a variety of math games and
math stations. Formative assessments through technology tools such as prodigy math, reflex math, and
plickers. Consequently, since I am piloting the RTI program in math I have not been able to meet with
my groups as much as I would like so I have extended Tuesday and Thursday afternoons after lunch to
do guided math groups and math stations.
