CONVOCATION 2016

The 15th Convocation 2016 of University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila scheduled to be held on
4th March 2016 for the graduates of its Affiliated Institutions (including CASE) has been rescheduled on
20th May 2016 (Friday) at 0900 at the Jinnah Convention Center, Islamabad.
Note:

The students who have completed their degree requirements from Spring 2014 to Summer2015 and
have submitted Degree Petition Form up to 31 st December 2015 are eligible to participate in the said
convocation.
Following documents are required to be submitted by 13th May 2016 positively:
Willingness Form (Available at CASE website)
02 recent photographs (1x1 inch with CASE Roll No. and Name on reverse)
Attested copies of CNIC (Applicant and guests)
Graduates are advised to pay Rs. 3000/- for each graduate and 1000/- for each guest.
Two guests for each graduate will be allowed to attend the Convocation

Only those graduates will be allowed to attend the convocation who will attend the Rehearsal on 19th May
2016 at 09:30 AM and obtain their entry cards. The invitation cards for the guests will also be issued on
the day of rehearsal.
The Convocation robes will be provided by the contractor on payment of Rs. 1000/- as rent-cum-security
on the day of rehearsal. The security will be refunded on return of the robes after deducting the rent at the
end of Ceremony.
To attend the rehearsal and obtain the entry cards, the graduates are required to bring with them the
following documents on the day of Rehearsal at Jinnah Convention Center Islamabad.
1.
Provisional Certificate and Transcript of Awards (One attested photocopy)
2.
Computerized National Identity Card (Original with one attested photocopy)
The graduates may note that they will not be allowed to attend the Convocation if:
1.
They do not take part in the Rehearsal.
2.
They do not obtain the Entry Card.
3.
They do not wear the Convocation Robe.
4.
They do not have with them, their Computerized National Identity Card and
5.
They do not reach the Convocation Place in Time.
Warning:
The graduates are directed to behave properly during the ceremony. In case of any behavior not
suitable for the grace of the ceremony, the degree is liable to be cancelled / withheld.
