    CitizensConcernedforCranesandDoves.Hewasinstrumentalintheefforttoprohibitthe
    huntingofmourningdovesandwaspartoftakingthecasetotheWisconsinSupremeCourt.
    HewasveryactiveintheFeatherRehabilitationCenterwherehespentmanyhoursbuilding
    structures.JohnwasalsoveryactiveintheAmericanCancerSocietyRelayforLife,servingon
    theNewLondoncommitteeandasateamcaptain.Heissurvivedbyhiswife,Nancya
    daughter,Stacy(Karl)Scherzer,Germantownandtheirchildren,SamuelandJustinason,
