My education in Republic Polytechnic has honed me well in my journalistic skills- News articles, reviews, producing
broadcast pieces, etc.
My works have been published in my schools internal publication, Republican Post, and used by external
organizations such as, NEBO, North-west CDC, Chingay.
Apart from my journalistic skills, I am well-versed in PR skills such as campaign planning and execution for
companies or organizations.

Objective
My goal is to be a professional community journalist.

Projects

SG50 competition- Local Champions, Global Leaders. I was the leader of a team of 4 students who
were in charge of covering a company (SMC). We were to show how they were provided with
opportunities to expand and show the passing down of the company. From one generation to
another.

Northwest Community Development Council- I wrote an article for the organizations SG50 book
that featured a particular citizen that was an outstanding citizen of the community.

Sembawang Town Council- I acted as a content creator to update their site with new posts as well
as covering community events around the Sembawang-Yishun area. EG: Tree-planting event,
National day appreciation event

Nebo-NTUC organization- I wrote an article about the Youth Entrepreneurship symposium (YES)
2015 that was organized in

Chingay- I was part of a 5-man team and was in charge of writing an article about the SOKA
organization performers at the event.
