Summer is finally here and with it comes Summer Parades and Band Camp.

These
events are excellent opportunities to serve the community and are lots of fun. The
kids enjoy the opportunity to see their classmates and we always make time for a
free breakfast or snack. All students that are not on vacation are expected to be
present for these events and doing so will result in earning letter points (incoming
freshmen seniors)! I do understand that summers are busy with vacations and
family events. Letter points will not be lost as long as I am notified of a planned
absence at least 1 full week prior to the event and as soon as possible before call
time for illness and emergencies.
In the event of bad weather or cancelations I will be using remind and the MFL
MarMac Band Facebook page as the primary means of quick communication. Remind
is an application that allows me to send emails and text messages to large groups at
once. Please provide any and all email address and cell phone numbers that you
would like to receive this information.
