Please report to the ARC Upper Level. Please arrive early to plan for limited parking. Please note that parking is
NOT permitted on the campus. You may visit the following website for directions:

Please note: Food and beverage are NOT allowed in the exam area for testing in New York State.
When results have been released to the New York board and validated, NCEES will send an e-mail informing you that
your results can be accessed through your NCESS exam registration account.

Instructions to All Examinees

Read the NCEES Candidate Agreement. Full compliance is
required.
Bring this Exam Authorization.
Bring a current, government-issued identification, such as a
driver's license or passport, that contains the following:
name, date of birth, expiration date, signature, and a recent
and recognizable photograph. The first and last name on the
examinee's ID and Exam Authorization must match. Student
and expired IDs will not be accepted.
Arrive on time. Late arrivals are not admitted under any
circumstances. Verify driving directions and parking fees
before exam day.
Bring only NCEES-approved calculators.
Bring earplugs. Unexpected noises could occur.
Bring a lunch. Restaurant facilities are not always available.
Wear a watch and turn off the beeping function. Clocks are
not always visible.
Prepare for cooler or warmer climate in the exam room.
Room temperatures vary.
Do not bring pens, pencils, or erasers.
Do not wear cologne, perfume, or other fragrances to the
exam site.
Do not bring cell phones or other prohibited electronic
devices.

Additional Instructions to FE and FS Examinees

Pack all personal items in a clear bag; opaque bags such as
the green, blue, yellow, white, or brown plastic bags used by
grocery stores are not allowed. No purses or backpacks are
allowed in the exam room.
