Skeletons are the animated bones of the dead,
brought to unlife through foul magic. While most
skeletons are mindless automatons, they still
possess an evil cunning imparted to them by their
animating forcea cunning that allows them to
wield weapons and wear armor. Burning skeletons
have been imbued with flame by a minor fire
elemental.
Combat: Immune to all sleep, charm, and hold
spells. Susceptible to cold-based damage; immune
to fire-based damage. Takes half damage from
bladed weapons; takes full damage from blunt
damage.
Any creature that touches the burning skeleton or
hits is with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it
takes 3(1d6) fire damage. Any weapon the
skeleton wields deals an extra 3(1d6) fire damage
on a hit.
A burning skeleton explodes into a burst of flame
when it dies. Anyone adjacent to the skeleton
when it is destroyed takes 1d6 points of fire
