Give students a recount and information report (Jenny Ether). Read through

Read a variety of non-fiction texts
Deconstucting sample texts to identify features of text-type (Jenny Ether Shelter)
Cut up an information report, have them put in order. Does the order matter?
Cut up an information report - remove the headings - have students put the
headings in the correct place.
