Why do the ancient Egyptians mummify, they mummify

pharaohs because in their belief ancient Egyptians mummify
the pharaohs to keep their soul intact and let it free and go to
the hereafter or the other world as you could say!

WHY MUMMIFY PHARAOHS?

Here is a step by step guide on how to do it !

You can do it at home too!
1: Insert a hook through the nose and pull out the brain as hard as you can!
2: Make a cut near the stomach!
3:Remove all or the remaining internal organs.
4:Dry the internal organs
5:Placethe lungs, intestines, stomach and liverinside Canopic jars
6: place the heart inside the body ( remember you took all the internal organs out)
7:Rinse the body with wine or spices ( any type )
8:cover the corpse with salt for 70 days!
9:After 40 days insert sand into the body to make it look like a human body!
10:After 70 days wrap the body from the toe to head!
11:place the mummy in a coffin or a sarcophagus!!!

WHO PERFORMED IT?

In ancient Egypt,mummificationwas considered that

pharaohs were the only ones who could get mummified!
Themummifiedbody provided a place for a person's ba(the
soul of the pharaoh), or spirit, to return to the body after
death. They believe the pharaohs will survive and will be
reborn in the afterlife! The process began when you take
everything out of the body. All internal organs were removedexcept the heart.
