    communitiesfromwhereourstudentscomefrom.IthinkthemuralshowsBlackstonestudents
    thateventhoughwecomefromdifferentcitiesweareone.Itgivesourschoolasenseoffamily
    regardlessofbackground.Themessagethatthemuralgivesisareasonwhypeoplemake
    largescaleart.Largescaleartismeanttosendamessage,makeyouthinkandbepowerful.
    Ourmuralinmyopinionembodiesallofthesetraits.
    IbelievewecreatedthismuraltomakeBlackstonelessboring.Thewallallotherthe
    schoolarejustsoplain.Alsowemadethemuraltosendamessageaboutourschool.Working
    withJesswasamazingshebroughtherownstyleandtechniquesintoourmuralthatinmy
    opinionmadeitbetter.Alsohavingalocalartistwasawaytogetthecommunityinvolvedina
    sense.Workingwithmyclassmatesonthismuralimprovedmycommunicationskills,mainly
    becausewewereallsoclosetoeachotherworkingonthewall.Alsoitmademefeelcloserto
    someofmyclassmatesbecauseweallhadourownopinionsandartstylesandyoucouldsee
    thatwhileworkingonthemurals.Finishingthemuralwasanamazingfeeling.IlookatitandI
    thinkIwaspartofthat,Ihelpedmakesuchabeautifulthing.
