Objectives:

Students will be able to:

use nouns and adjectives that they have learned earlier to
answer the questions.
use the ideas about how butterflies transform (taught
earlier) to answer the questions.
use the oral language as fluently and accurately as possible.
use their critical thinking to infer ideas.

Procedure:
Here, the teacher can implement Zaption in two ways:
o The teacher gives the permalink of Zaption to the students
so they can log in on their computers in class or at home in
order to watch the video and answer the questions.
o The teacher projects the video on the active board and the
students work together to answer the questions.
In the both cases, the teacher can evaluate the students
according to the use of nouns and adjectives, their fluency and
accuracy, the way they listen to one another, the way they share
their ideas and most importantly how they use their critical
thinking skills to answer the questions.
Evaluative task:
After the discussion ends, the teacher assigns the following
writing task in order to evaluate the students writing skills and
critical thinking skills.
Write about a story of a kid your age who watches a caterpillar
transform into a butterfly. Be creative as possible.
- Choose a suitable title.
- State the name of the kid (a boy or a girl).
- Choose a setting (time and place).

- Mention the way the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly.

- Describe the kids feelings.
