In high school, Darren LaCroix was considered Least Likely to Ever Be Funny. Without a funny bone in his body, but with a willingness to fail and a desire to learn, he pursued his dream to be a comedian. Family and
friends laughed at him for the first time when
he told them of his plans. It was the beginning. He became a student of comedy; reading every book, taking every class, grabbing
every chance at stage time he could get. He
first took to the comedy stage in Boston in
1992 and turned professional eighteen months
later. Now, Darren performs regularly in New
England when his corporate schedule permits.
He is living proof that humor is a skill that
can be learned.
His unique background positions him perfectly
as a trainer. He knows how to teach people to
be funnier, and his initial lack of skill and
comedy battle wounds allow him to dramatically shorten your learning curve.
