The World Doctor Orchestra is going to

perform at Siriraj Hospital on February 26,
2016, and February 27, 2016 at PMH. The
ticket price is unto 800 - 2500 baht .The
perform benefit will be spends on medical
aid project.
The World Doctor Orchestra perform 2 - 3
times a year by over 100 physician from all
over the world. Led by founder and
conductor Prof. Dr Stefan Willich. Students
who want to go to the concert will get 40

MUIDS Students Voted

Student President
On February 12, 2016. A lot of student at
MUIDS voted the student government
team, outside the canteen to elected the
student president for this year.
Over 500 students went to voted the
government team they liked. However
there are about 30 students who didn't
come for vote. According to Mr.Randy
Voran, the teacher whos controlling the
student government election, said that the
reason school set the student government
as a team instead of individual was
because its easier for student to work as a
group. Moreover MUIC also do in the
same way. it was Mr. Eric Santos idea
he continued. The student government
team presented themselves by making
posters but the original idea was making
campaign.
On February 15, the result showed that
student government which that being
elected was The Penta team. The idea o
this team is to solve the problem that
student faced in school and support
MUIDS sport day.

Mr, Eric Santos, the dean of students said

that he asked parents a question why
students get tardy, the parents said that
the reason was because students didn't
wake up early. He also said that if he see
students coming to school late, hell makes
strict eyes contact and tries to make joke
at them, while encouraging them to come
to school earlier. But when its become a
very big problem then hell try to contact
their parents and arrange the meeting.
The reason why i come to school late is
because i always wake up late , but I think
if I wake up earlier then the problem will be
solved said Sasis Panthong the 10 grade
student.

The Songkarn Festival or Thailand New

Year starts on April 13to April 15 in every
year. Thai people will celebrate Songkarn
Festival by splashing water on each other
and go to the temple. At the night time
people in Bangkok mostly celebrate the
Songkarn Water Parties on Silom Road,
Khao San Road, and RCA.
On Songkarn Day, people will splashing
the water on each other in form of a wish
for a year filled with blessing. Mostly the
people who celebrate the Songkarn Water
Parties are thai teenager and foreigner.

Mr. Phillip Henderson, the social science

teacher at MUIDS, opened the club The
History Gaming Club in period 7, every
Friday at Room 402, fourth floor to help
student develop their history knowledge by
playing Civilization V game.
The reason its need to be Civilization V,
Mr. Henderson said that it related to many
things that he teaches in class and also
this game can help student to practice
reading a map, creating their own strategy
and dealing with problem in the game, and
this game is also telling the information
about the really history which is actually
happened in the pass.

Model UN club
debated in Singapore
The Model UN club headed by Mr. Eric
Santos, the adviser, will go to debate for
Model Asean which includes all 10n asian
countries at Hwa Chong International
School, Singapore in March.
There are 12 students who will go to
debate. They are Pearutuch Kuvinichkul,
Piyapa Tantisirivat, Pin-Anong Weesapen,
Wittawat Suwattananon, Kenyapat
Thongta and Natricha Triyangkulsri, who
are in 10 grade. For the 12 grade they are
Mahatancipatch Gorvanichkul, Ruthcanon
Assuvatesanon, Varinthorn Suwattananon,
Kantaporn Kachonseree, Palang
Phiromchai and Chemchy Tacho. The
participants will have to pay the air flight
ticket by themselves.
The reason why they going to debate is for
practicing to face the competitor from
another countries and to take and
opportunity to debate outside the school
and also to develop their debate skill. The
debaters will stay at Singapore for a week.
