As most of you know, this week our daughter-in-law broke her leg. As a
parent, my husband and I have prayed that our adult children would continue
to attend church as they did while they were still in our home. We were
amazed at the many calls from church members and the food brought to their
home. When my husband took Hannah to daycare, she told him he needed to play
Jesus songs on the radio. She had me singing "Nothing but the blood of
Jesus" to her during a thunderstorm on Friday.
Thanks to all of you for your help in taking care of our children. Andrew
told me they were "blessed" to have such a good church family. Dave and I
are Stephen's ministers and we realize the importance of this care. If you
can't care for your own, you should not try to take care of others.
