Big Ideas/Unit Goals:
Students will be able to participate in a sport that it different from the "traditional" games that are played in Physical Education.
They will be able to gain more body control, flexibility, and balance. They will also be able to learn basic gymnastics tumbling
skills, and will use that knowledge at the end of the unit to create an enjoyable routine.

Unit Summary:

In this unit, we will be learning basic tumbling skills that are used in gymnastics. Students will not only be learning about the
history of gymnastics and the different elements, but they will also be learning to perform the skills. Throughout the unit, there
will be different assignments that will showcase your knowledge and performance of the skills.

they will be using in their routine.
