Key elements of good teaching that should be written about in
edTPA commentary are lessons and activities that meet the needs of
all students. Culturally responsive teaching must be involved in the
lessons. Assessments that match the objectives need to be written
about in edTPA commentary. Differentiation must be involved in the
commentary because not all students are on the same level.
What are some instructional strategies that you know about
that you will include in your commentary and lessons?
Instructional strategies that will be included in my lessons and
commentary will be modeling. I will model how to do the activities.
Whole group instruction will be taught as well as instruction for
struggling students. Students will be able to phone a friend if they
have any questions.
