Arizona Senate Race

Jon Kyl is a 2-term Republican Senator. Jim Pederson is in a close fight in a
campaign where immigration has been a key issue – he’s gaining quickly on
Kyl and the race is now considered competitive by the Democratic Party and
drawing national attention. Early vote tracking polls show Pederson leading
44% to 40% among early voters, raising expectations that this race could be
decided by a very small margin and energizing Pederson’s campaign.

Democratic Party since 2001. He wants the country to take a new direction
in Iraq. He support strong border security and a guest worker program – and
has engaged in bipartisan immigration policy work with John McCain.

has raised $12.4m, and has contributed substantial funds to his own campaign. This will be the most expensive
