Call for Twinsburg Families

AKRON, Ohio (April 19, 2010) – For the first time Habitat for Humanity of Summit

County plans to build homes in Twinsburg Township. The organization is set to receive parcels

of land from Summit County that will enable them to build new homes in the area. Habitat also

plans to purchase some private lots which will allow the organization to build more homes and

help more families.

“We are very excited to be expanding into a new part of Summit County,” said Rochelle

Fisher, President and CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Summit County. “We are currently

looking for families that are interested in building and owning a new home in Twinsburg

Township.”

The organization is seeking applicants who are in need of adequate shelter, are willing to

partner with Habitat, have a decent and responsible credit history and have the ability to make a

monthly mortgage payment. Also each adult applicant must be willing to complete a total of 250

“sweat equity hours” of volunteering.
