    The FCC Youth Group recently completed a Summer of Service (SOS) event from Thursday to Sunday where about 270 people from 22 area churches volunteered together. The volunteers gave away 5,500 bottles of water, painted bathrooms at city parks, washed over 350 cars for free, pulled weeds at various locations, and hosted 8 block parties at local apartment complexes. The lead pastor was proud of what God accomplished through the event, which was double the size of the previous year's turnout, and credited the youth group and sponsors for their work.
