Subject:- SOUTHERN PUNJAB DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (SPDP)

Sir,

I am directed to refer your letter No. 1-27/DD&F/P&D/BWP/3693-96 dated


30.12.2009 and subsequent information provided through letter dated 20.01.2010 wherein
three schemes of Southern Punjab Development Programme having a cost of Rs.98.763
million have been proposed to be substituted with another three schemes having the cost of
Rs.405.355 million.
It is submitted that the proposed substitution is required to remain within the
cost previously approved by Chief Minister Punjab i.e. Rs. 98.763 million.
Necessary action may kindly be taken accordingly.

I am directed to refer to this office letter No. 3(190)RP/P&D/2009 dated


09.01.2010 and subsequent reminder dated 18.01.2010 wherein information about proposed
substitution of schemes in SPDP have been requested to be provided on the following
format:-

It is further submitted that Chairman, P&D Board is meeting with Sr.

Development Programme (SPDP) wherein the issue of substitutions in the programme is
likely to be taken up.
You are requested to kindly provide the required information on the requisite
format by return fax today to enable this department take action as desired by Sr. Advisor to
Chief Minister.
