 The system is designed using the two-tier architecture
wherein the client software directly communicates to the
server without an intervening server. This type of
architecture is used because of the relatively small number of
users concerned. The two-tier architecture is sufficient to
cater to the needs of the users.
 In the 2-tier architecture, the presentation and business logic
of an application is loaded in the client PC. The server acts
as a data provider. The required data for a business process is
obtained from the server and processed in the client.
