Summer Games 2010 - Cricket Rules & Guidelines

All Team Captains/ Players please read the rules before playing the game
 Each team should mention all team member names and captain name & team name.
 Each team bring their own cricket kit, Committee will provide ball & stumps.
 Game is going to played with hard tennis ball
 Each team should provide the board with 11 players, in case of non-availability,
swapping of players is allowed.
 Only 11 players will be on the field.
 Without exception, NO player will be allowed to be part of more than one team.
 Match is played for 12 overs with a maximum of 3 overs per bowler. No
chucking/throws allowed as part of bowling.
 There is no LBW out, no leg bye extra runs and no byes.
 Boundary and other general rules will be informed to the captain at the venue.
 Both teams should be present at the venue at the time specified by the board. Any
team coming late 30 minutes without informing the organizers will be considered as
walkover and the other team will be declared as a winner. Both teams coming late 30
minutes without informing the organizers will be considered as forfeiting the game.
 Team captain is responsible for the registration fee and any communication to the
board and his team. Also, providing assistance (extract player) while scoring both the
innings and managing self and his team member emotions.
 Umpire(s) decision is final during the play. Board/organizers decision is final on any
conflict.
 Teams should not leave the ground until the umpires make the final decision. In case
a team leaves without any information, the team remaining will be declared the
winner. 16. If an umpire is not 100% sure about any decision on the field, it is always
a good idea to talk to the other umpire on the field before they take the final decision
 Any game that is delayed / interrupted / stopped due to rain or any other reasons will
be continued on the next session. If a match has to be stopped within the first five
overs of the first innings, it will be deemed as a canceled game, and the game will
start afresh the next time.
 Scores will be kept by the batting team. Score sheets will be provided. In the case of
any discrepancies, the committee / umpires will take the final decision.
