Re: Summary of General Election Polling Results in Pennsylvania CD-4

Congressman Jason Altmire maintains his strong standing among voters in Pennsylvania’s 4th
district, and he is in a strong electoral position because of it. Altmire is no stranger to winning
elections in a district that has historically favored Republicans, and voters’ affection for Jason
and their appreciation of his job performance once again put him in a commanding lead over his
Republican opponent. Right now, Altmire holds a 51%-24% lead over Republican Keith
Rothfus.

Voters like Jason Altmire and think he is doing a good job in Congress.

• Voters maintain their personal affinity for Altmire. 60% of them feel favorably towards
him, while only 29% of voters feel unfavorably towards Altmire.

• 54% of voters give Altmire a positive rating on his job, while only 38% give him a
negative rating.

Altmire’s strong relationship with voters translates into a substantial lead in a race for
Congress for him

• In a matchup for Congress, Altmire bests Republican Keith Rothfus 51%-24%.

• Altmire leads by large margins among men and women, voters in every age group, and
voters in every region of the district.
