Accessing a Live Wimba Classroom

1) In your course page, click on the link for your Wimba Classroom. (In this example, the link is “Wimba Classroom”)
2) Click on the link to the live classroom, indicated by the notation “Room” in the Type column. (Here, it’s “LB501
Classroom”)
*Note: The Wimba classroom must be Open for students to enter. If the indicator under the Access column has an orange dot with a
strikethrough, the room is Closed. Instructors can click once on the indicator to open it, and the indicator will turn green.
3) Click “Enter Room”.
4) Follow the prompts to run the Wimba Wizard before entering the classroom the first time. When the Wizard is
finished, click “Launch!”
*Hints: Popup blockers should be turned Off. Click “Run/Approve” when the Allowing Signed Applet prompt appears from the Wizard.
