    PTA NEWSLETTER

    At our recent AGM, a new Committee was elected:-

    Chairperson: Carol White


    Vice Chairperson: Linda Cameron
    Treasurer: Elaine Craigen
    Secretary: Sharon Stirling

    In session 2009-2010, the PTA raised £4700 for the school. This was
    used to fund a Pantomime visit, subsidise class trips and purchase
    smartboards and cameras for use in classrooms.

    This year, we hope to increase our fundraising efforts as the


    Children’s Day Retinue will be chosen from Moray Primary. In order
    to do this we have planned the following events which need your
    support in order to be successful:-

    Halloween Disco

    Dress Down Days – 11th November 2010, 15th February


    2011, 29th April 2011

    Christmas Fete & Raffle – Friday 3rd December 2010 –


    6.30 – 8.30pm

    Ceilidh – late January/early February 2011

    Sponsored Event – March 2011

    Easter Disco – 20th April 2011

    Fashion Show – May 2011

    We are always looking for additional help at our fundraising events,


    our Committee at present is very small in number and we would
    greatly appreciate any possible contribution of your time.

    We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting – Wednesday


    29th September 2010 at 7pm (Staff Room, Moray School).
