KADAVU RESORTS

Climbing up the steps from the boat jetty, Indranil Banerjee could hear the music drifting from the party that was
happening at the pool-side of his hotel. The company hosting the function was part of the regular corporate clientele
at the Kadavu resort hotel. Banerjee could also count a sizeable number of resident guests sitting around the
amphitheatre watching the Kalaripayatu show. Looking at the general crowd around the hotel, Banerjee couldn't
help thinking about the time when he joined the hotel as general manager just 5 months ago and things were not as
smooth as they are now. Yet the future for the hotel was still unclear and Banerjee had to decide whether he should
follow the current marketing strategy for the hotel or not.
