CONCLUSION:

The zero-based channel of Excel Toms Supermarket can be considered feasibly low since
improvements on service outputs are needed, thus, incurring more cost and less profitability on the part
of the retailer.
Service outputs that needs improvements are: waiting and delivery time, product variety and
information provision. Long-lines are always visible in the cashier area indication of a slow service.
Products are limited that a customer would think of going to another retail store to purchase needed
products. In addition, there are no signboards that would help customer locate products.
However, assistance of the sales person can be asked as needed. This gives the rating of medium
benefit potential.
Although generally the benefit potential is low, still breaking bulk and spatial convenience has
high potentials. Excel Toms Supermarket offers product in small quantity at a low-price while the
location of the supermarket is in the city making it more accessible than others.
