Good morning ladies and gentlemen. My group and I recently made a survey about favorite
types of outdoor activities for students in Politeknik Kota Kinabalu.
First, I’d like to talk about the types of sport that we have enlisted, which are; badminton,
football, futsal, swimming and basketball. If you can see on the figure 1, women have great deal
of higher interest in swimming than men. The main reason why women chooses swimming as
their favorite sport is because its fun and relaxing.

Now, I’d like to move on to the next sport, which is futsal. According to the bar chart given, the
percentage of men are into futsal is considerably higher than women. This is because futsal is
mainly played by men than women. The sport is almost the same with football where in the bar
chart, the percentage of men playing football is far higher than women.

The bar chart also shows two other commonly played sports in Politeknik Kota Kinabalu, which
is badminton and basketball. For badminton, the percentage of men playing badminton is
somewhat lower than women. And as for basketball, the percentage for men and women is the
same as not many played it according to our survey.
