INTRODUCTION

Parle products is the India’s largest manufacturer of biscuit and confectionery. It is

the world’s largest selling biscuit and a host of other Brands.

Parle was first started Vile parle which is in Mumbai in the year 1928.Founder was
Mohanlal Dayalji. The objective was to spread joy of taste to children . Parle
started up with Toffees. Apart from Mumbai it has its factory in Bangalore,
Bahadurgarh in Hariyana, Neemrana in Rajastan and many other places. Parle head
office is in Vile Mumbai. It has 14 manufacturing units for Biscuits and 5 units for
confectioneries.. in Bangalore in 2001Parle came into existence .They first stated
manufacturing Krack-Jack in Banglore.

WHAT I UNDERSTOOD FROM THIS INDUSTRIAL VISIT:-

From all the mother units it produces same quality, same taste, same flavor
without differing. So what I understood and learnt is Parle maintains same
standards in Quality in products.
