New Stylist’s Schedule For Success

Disclaimer: This is not a Jewel Kade corporate document. This is strictly a day-by-day guide to be used
in conjunction with the Stylist Starting Guide to help get off to a fast start. Feel free to use if you are
interested in building quickly and earning your investment back within your first 30 days.

Warning: Following schedule may lead to great success that can bring great financial and personal
rewards and ultimately lead to habit-forming behavior. Proceed with caution!

Day One:
 Read and save any welcome emails you receive. Create a JK folder within your email storage, and
also on your hard drive. Never delete communications, but rather file them electronically. It will
be your responsibility to keep abreast of JK news, updates and information. By keeping all
communications, you can refer to them and obtain answers to any questions you may have.
 Schedule Launch to be held no later than 2 weeks from today – coordinate date and time with
your sponsor if in same geographic location. Your sponsor will help you have a successful launch.
 Invite your guests.
 Listen to Training Call #7: The Stylist Office and Summary Form Explained
Playback Number: (218) 862-1099 / Access Code: 954246#
 Familiarize yourself with the documents found at: www.box.net/stylistoffice and print out the
Stylist Starting Guide.
 Read the Stylist Starting Guide. By doing so, you will be familiar with it. Refer to it for more
detailed information that pertains to the steps over the next nine days of your “Schedule For
Success”.

Day Two:
 Take the calendar found in the Stylist Starting Guide and schedule your family obligations, then
your JK work time. Try to carve out 2.5 hours per day your first 10 days. If that is not possible,
spend as much time as you can.
 JK Order catalogs, business cards, postcards, etc.
 Make sure you have Microsoft Excel on your computer.
 Start Contact List – this will be ongoing, forever.
 Listen to Training Call #2: How to Secure Bookings
Playback Number: (712) 775-7399 / Access Code: 305360#
 Begin 21-day chart
 Book a minimum of three parties to be held within first 30 days, with six as your goal.
 Schedule time to join your sponsor or a seasoned stylist during one of their parties. You can
watch, observe and learn.

Day Three:
 Set your goals – both short-term and long-term. Take considerable time to think about this. Call
your sponsor and share your goals with him/her. WRITE your goals down and place in several
different places where you will see them each day.
 Continue 21-day chart
 Listen to Training Call #1: Host Coaching and Conducting a Business Launch
Playback Number: (712) 432-1590 / Access Code: 523287#

Day Four:
 Organize your computer so you can have all the JK business tools handy. Download the
Summary Form, Application, Flyers, etc., and organize them in folders on your computer that you
will find useful. Always make sure you clean up these folders and update with new versions,
delete old documents, etc.
 Continue 21-day chart
 Listen to Training Call #3: How to do a Party and building a team.
Playback Number: (218) 844-8799 / Access Code: 297488#

Day Five:

folders and should include:
1. Postcard Invites (I put in 20 and collect extras the day of the party and also provide an
invite that can be sent via email - see attachment)
2. Catalog (once you receive them)
3. Product Flyers of special items not in catalog
4. 3-4 Order forms for outside orders

Playback Number: (218) 844-8799 / Access Code: 476155#

Day Six:
 Create your display for your jewelry. Initially, this does not have to be elaborate and cost a lot of
money. Chances are, you have things around the house. A good place to find cool, inexpensive
stuff is at: Hobby Lobby, Marshall’s, Home Goods, Ross, etc.
 Think about what you are going to carry your jewelry in. The Debbee Flip ‘n’ Dazzle is awesome.
Google it and find your best price. This holds everything beautifully, is under $40, and the best
feature is the removable purse-sized jewelry organizer you can take anywhere.
 Assemble items for your parties: catalogs, order forms, clipboards, calculator, pens, money bag
with change, mirror, laminated price cheat sheet, Windex wipes, etc. Send me an email for copy
of cheat sheet and the Electronic Invite I use for those wishing to send via email along with post
cards.
