1) Event Organizing at Mba college- I was invited by POC of Operations event of 'USHUS2010'

to design game round in a short span of 36hrs.

2) Actions taken: I searched online for management games and after a rigourous search i
zeroed down to Beer game of SCM and decided with the entire team to play the game
manually (no computers). I designed the required game board and drafted the rules and
evaluation sheets over night and mailed it to the team for taking the necessary printouts
and purchase the necessary board items. In the morning my team worked together to finish
the necessary printing and board preparation and chit making and by evening the entire
game was ready to be played. we played a demo game and it worked fine.
3) Result: The game was played on the event day and was recognized as successfull. When the
feedback form was collected from the participants, beer game was the most appreciated
game in the entire operations event.

Situation: In September 2010, from my hostel room Rs 10000 was stolen. My rooms duplicate key is
kept in the hostel office and the major doubt was on them. Financially my family was not sound
enough to arrange another Rs 10000 for payment of the hostel fees. I was suggested to take
necessary action against the guards and It was on me to take the right action and also to arrange
money for hostel fees payment.

Actions Taken: I requested the hostel warden to take necessary actions and also asked suggestion
for making a police complaint. But later during the day i realized that if I do any type of police
complaints then the poor gaurd and the cleaners who get a very minimal salary will suffer a lot and
my money will not be obtained at any case. thus i took decision to inform the priest in charge of the
hostel to speak to the staffs of the hostel and called up my uncle and a few friends to lend me
money for two months.

Result: I was finally able to pay my hostel fees on time and the staffs give respect to my decision and
treat me in much better way than before.

Situation: Work with a group of students with no synchronization of thoughts and ideas during
participating in a game event at Workshop at Infosys Bangalore. The team was required to build a
model of the house in a short span of 45 minutes which included layout making and purchasing of
necessary raw materials making of home furnitures and essentials . it was also required to minimize
the cost as much as possible and negligible waste and also a budget was required to be submitted in
the initial 10 minutes. each member of the team was trying to impose their idea to be selected and
initial minutes were lost in the process.

Action taken: As the discussion was on I made a layout design and the possible furnitures that can be
installed in the house and I interrupted their discussion by putting forward my design. The team was
impressed by the design and then I divided the work of making the model among members
according to their interest and i took the responsibility to make the basic structure of the house with
rooms.
Result: as we presented our model in front of the judges, they were satisfied by the model and the
cost of making the model was the least among other teams. We obtained second position in the
game.
