Origins, look, attitude and pastimes
 EMO
Origins; They were born in the 80’s as a musical style
derived from the American punk hardcore. The word
“emo” comes from the Emotional hardcore music.
Look; They wear black hair, piercings,
Converse shoes, wristbands, badges,
hoodies, black tight shirts and sight
underwear.
 EMO
• Attitude;
·They have a negative view of life and they’re pessimistic

· They’re very concerned about their appearance and

declared against fashion.

· They don’t believe in religions

· One of their sentences: “Emo is born, not made”

 EMO
• Pastimes; They hear this music: My chemical
romance, Blink 182, All American reject, Silverstein,
Panic! at the disco, etc.
They meet in places and in pubs.
 Posh
• Origins; Maybe they exist
since the beginning of times.
They have evolved at the
same time that the human race
has.
• Look; The men wear clip or
well-pressed pants, striped
shirts, wool jumpers, argyle
socks and moccasins. They
wear hair gel. Women wear
blouses or shirts, skirts above
the knee, tight jeans and a lot
of complements as silk
scarves, bracelets and rings.
 Posh
• Attitude; They are not identified by
their aggressiveness. They are identified
by celebrities such as Beckham and his
wife.

One of their sentences: The important

thing is not to win, if not participate...
by the profits.
 Posh
• Pastimes; In their spare time they go to parties,
cocktails, etc. Music they listen to: Julio Iglesias, Los del
Río y María del Monte.
Rastafarians
• Origins; They are from Ethiopia,
they moved to Jamaica. They were
black but now a lot of whites
proclaim black power.

• Look; They wear long hair with

dreadlocks, dirty look and their smell
is similar to the incense.
 Rastafarians

• Attitude; Their dream is return to Ethiopia but they

spend their time smoking cannabis. They are very
sociable but when they are hungry or when they have
abstinence of marijuana.
 Rastafarians
• Pastimes; They meet for smoking and talking about
topics for marijuana, music, and life.
• They hear a lot of music of Bob Marley.
