1. How to WIN:
Get all the opposing team members out
OR
Knock down both their cones (the ‘s in the diagram)

2. To get someone out, the ball must touch your opponent’s shoulders or below.
3. Balls which roll on the floor or which have bounced are “dead” i.e. if they touch a person, that person is
not out.
4. Once out, that person must go to their team’s Prison.
5. While in Prison, you cannot intervene in play, meaning you cannot touch the ball.
6. The only way to be bailed out from Prison is if a team member catches an attacking ball thrown by the
opposition. This ball must be caught in mid-air i.e. it cannot bounce first. One caught ball bails out one
person.
7. Stepping out of your court at any time during the match while you are still ‘in’ makes you out. You must
go to Prison.
8. As it is only 5 a side, the half-way line will remain as the only boundary you can throw from. Even if the
team is down to 2 members, you cannot go past it and throw from the blue line in the gym.
9. Time limits: Group matches = 7 minutes; Quarters and Semis = 10 minutes; Finals = N/A. If time is up
before the match finishes, the team with the most people left on-court wins.
10. For the Group stages: Winner – 3pts; Draw – 1 pt; Loser – 0 pts
11. If your whole team doesn’t turn up for your match, you will forfeit and earn 0 pts.
