1. What is the origin of psychology?

Psychology originated from the Greek words psychology which means study of literary
means the study of mind.

2. What is the meaning of psychology?

Psychology is a broad discipline which seeks to analyze the human mind. Different
disciplines within this field study why people behave, think, and feel the way they do.
There are many different ways to approach psychology, from examining biology’s role in
mental health to the role of the environment on behaviour.

3. What are the goals of psychology?

The goals of Psychology are DESCRIBING behaviour, EXPLAINING why those


processes occur, PREDICTING future events, CONTROLING/CHANGING behaviours
and mental processes, OBSERVE so they know what problem their dealing with.

4. What specific question are pursued in our deserve of understand


behaviour?

The specific question are pursued in our deserve to understand behaviour are the
following: What are the strengths and weaknesses of humanistic and scientific
approaches to understanding human behaviour?, Why people do things they do? What
are they thinking?
5. What is empirical evidence?
Empirical evidence is originating in or based on observation or experience or relying on
experience or observation alone often without due regard for system and theory and
capable of being verified or disproved by observation or experiment.

6. What makes psychology different from the other fields of study?


Psychology is different from other field of study because in psychology we study mental
life as well as studying mental behaviour. We study of everything, thinking of every
possibility. Most other fields only study what is within the realms of their field. It's not so
much a study, as it is people using their fully functioning brain to contemplate other
thinking or other life of people.
