the video to YouTube. After the video is edited, you also have the option to send the video as an

the Start Menu > Programs > Microsoft Expression on NDSU computers.

2. Click on the “Edit Options” button, which looks like a gear, and change the frame rate to 30,
the bit rate to 50,000, and the quality to 100. Select “Ok”.

An informational box will appear; click “Ok”. A countdown will then start and the recording

movements or typing. What you see on your screen within the selected box is exactly what will
be recorded.

6. When you are done recording, use “Ctrl+Shift+F12” to stop the recording. To pause the
recording at any time, use “Ctrl+Shift+F11”.

Once the video is satisfactory, select the purple button in the bottom right corner of the preview
screen to launch Microsoft Expression Encoder 3. It will prompt you to save the video first,
and then Microsoft Expression Encoder 3 will open.

clip should be removed. If you’d like to undo removing a clip, “Ctrl+Z” can be used.

screen and choose “Encoding Quality” and then “Best Quality” and click “Apply”.
