Download and Install Adobe Presenter


(formerly Macromedia Breeze Presenter)

Where shall I go to get the Adobe Presenter PowerPoint Plug-in?

How can I install Adobe Presenter to my computer?

1. Click the hyperlink for Adobe Presenter PowerPoint Plug-in.

2. Click Run when the File Download window popup.

3. Click Run again to begin actual installation to your computer.

4. Click Next when Installation Program window appears.

5. Check “I accept the terms in the license agreement” and click Next.

6. Click Next to install to the default folder.

7. Click Install to continue installation process.

Note: You may encounter Error 1904 during installation. See the
instructions below, What to do if I get the 1904 Error Message during
installation, if you encounter this error message.

8. Click Finish when the installation program is complete.

What to do if I get the 1904 Error Message during installation?


During installation to your computer, it is possible that you could encounter Error
1904 (see figure below).

This is caused when your computer has Flash Player version 8 (8.0.24.0) installed.
You will need to uninstall both Adobe Presenter and Flash Player, and then install
Flash Player version 9 and Adobe Presenter in that order.

A. Uninstall Breeze Presenter


1. Go to Control Panel—Add or Remove Programs
2. Highlight Macromedia Breeze Presenter and click Remove

B. Uninstall Flash Player 8 (8.0.24.0)

Flash Player uninstaller.

C. Install Flash Player 9


1. Go to
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Vers
ion=ShockwaveFlash
2. Follow the instructions to complete reinstallation

D. Reinstall the Adobe Presenter at http://www.tltc.ttu.edu/downloads/.


Repeat the installation instructions.

How do I know it installed correctly?


After you restart your computer and open a PowerPoint file, you should see the
Breeze Menu now showing on the PowerPoint menu bar.
