Trying to sum up the past year in just a few short paragraphs
seems difficult. We’ve had an amazing year spent with some amazing people. God continues to show us that He has called us to not only train young people in carpentry, but to mentor and disciple them for the rest of their lives. With the joy that comes with bringing these young people into our family also comes the heartache of seeing them go. Three of them have left over the past few months to go and do amazing things for The Kingdom. BECC A Toast was the first official graduate of the carpentry Apprenticeship and has gone home to Colorado and is working for a timber framer. Scott, who we’ve had the privilege of mentoring through dating a great women, is now married. He and his new wife, Rachel are pioneering the School of Biblical Studies in Colorado Springs, CO. Becca is another staff that we have spent countless hours with and who was able to take outreach teams to Thailand, Cambodia and Taiwan. She is now headed to Taiwan to do the School of Biblical Studies there. It’s so great to be able to invest into the lives of these young people and see them going and reaching the Nations for Christ.
