 Mother say many things that lead their children in the path of
life
 A mother’s words bring:
• Encouragement
• Comfort
• Help
• Hope
 Advice

 The words of a mother come out of love and

care for the life of her children
 Her desire is that the child she is teaching will
hear and follow her guidance
 Some advice that is given is more important
than others
 Mom and best friend

"If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all."
"Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty.  They'll wash clean."
"Work before play."
"You can if you think you can!"
"Keep your chin up.  It's not the end of the world."
Mom's Mom (Grandma) often said:
"Life isn't always fair."
"Never lie, cheat, or steal."
"Never be too proud to ask for help when you need it."
"You catch more flies w/honey than vinegar."
Now that's sound advice!  I love you Mom, and Grandma:-)
 Wise advice

• My mother gave me two very valuable pieces of

advice. First, never marry a man who is not as
smart as you are or you will spend the rest of
your life pretending to be dumb. Second, never
pass up the opportunity to use the bathroom or
eat something. You never know when you will
get another chance. Both pieces of advice have
served me well!
