SafeetyToown 2011
Safety Town is a one-week program for children entering kindergarten in August 2011
that teaches life-saving lessons on strangers, traffic, fire, pedestrians, guns, poisons, drugs,
playground, bus, and bicycle safety. The child-sized town includes working traffic lights,
miniature street signs (stop, pedestrian crossing, railroad crossing, etc.), crosswalks and
eight colorful little buildings representing our town!
First session week of June 13th -16th
Second session week of June 20th -23rd
Third session week of June 27th -30th
There will be AM and PM Sessions!
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
All Sessions will be held at Blythe Elementary School

Applications will be posted on the Police Department’s website


www.huntersvillepd.org and MUST be delivered to the Police
Department in person Registration Starts Monday March 14th at 9:00am
Safety Town Fee is $50.00 includes t-shirt, class photo, bicycle helmet, daily snacks, and
drinks
