    resistant strength.Particularly one of the greatest deficiency in Cast Basalt is that it has to be
    manufactured by Casting process ONLY.
    In casting process there can be hidden voids caused due air entrapment leading to hollow
    bricks.
    In compaction method ,spray dried powder having uniform particle size is pressed into a tile
    in a die.Thus we ensure that there are no voids in the tiles.
