Any questions I have: What does it mean by moving in concentric circles? Stars centered
on a spot in the sky, which moves counterclockwise. What is angular separation-- The
angle between lines originating from the eye of the observer towards two objects.

Notes: A galaxy is a billion to a thousand billion gravitationally bound stars. Planets

are large objects that revolve around the sun, or similar objects that revolve around other
stars. The Moon is ¼ diameter of the Earth. A celestial sphere is an imaginary sphere of
stars and the earth is in the center of this “sphere.” North celestial pole is the point
exactly above the North Pole.
South celestial sphere is the point exactly above the South Pole. A constellation is an
area of the sky containing a pattern of stars named for a particular object, animal, or
person. Ursa Major is the most prominent constellation in the sky. (Big Dipper)
