    LOVE CALLING

    i struggle for identity


    i fight the waves of the
    ocean of me
    i cling to the non-reality
    i choose to see
    i hurt you before you destroy me
    pain and i, no room for “we”
    turmoil and terror won’t let me be
    i hide, i run, i lie, i cry
    WHY?
    violence is not the answer
    yet my strike is even and sure
    blows from lips, spoken for the infliction of
    a broken spirit of withering pain
    spinning inside, internal hurricane
    drowning in sorrow
    hot tears drenching my
    desert of trust, quenching the thirst
    barren soul will burst
    bloom, flower, gain power
    every hour, every minute
    we stay in it
    infinite
    bonded, paired, one love shared
    catch me, i caught you, i thought
    i taught you…. no,
    you teach me, it’s the falling i need
    open up and bleed out the fear
    your love calling is what i hear
    your love calling is what brings me near
    your love calling is the song i sing
    your love calling is love rejoicing
