    CASE STUDY I

    Seizing

    Name of seizing :- SHAMBHO MAHADEV SEIZING, Ichalkaranji

    Date of visit :- 6th FEB 2011

    Time of visit :- 11 am

    Input & Output :- In this seizing 3800kg of cotton threads

    need 650Kg of raw material.

    Which produce 4000 kg of finished goods

    as cotton threads wraped on a beam.

    This is known as “job working”.

    For this process 6 ton of wood is require.

    Process

    Name of process :- SWADESHI PROCESS, Ichalkaranji

    Date of visit :- 6th FEB 2011

    Time of visit :- 1:30 pm

    Input & output :- In this process raw material used , is in

    liquid form, so we measure this in Rupees

    form.

    If upto one lakh rupees raw material is used

    it gives 50000 meter finished goods.

    For this process 27 ton wood is require.
