As per the survey conducted
Out of 125 respondents, 98 (78.4%) have an opinion that ,US will shield
itself against double dip, But 14 (11.2%) say that it can’t avoid it this
time, whereas 13 (10.4%) people are not sure about it .

As per the survey conducted
Out of 125 respondents, 110 (88%) have an opinion that ,new norms will
prevent mis-selling by agents, But 10 (4%) say that it won’t affect those
agents, whereas 5 (4%) people are not sure about it .

Can US now avoid the double dip?

As far as US' double dip is concerned- "It's too huge an economy to fall, it’s a
nearly 17 trillion economy compared to India's 1.3 trillion. It will recover soon.
But it wont grow as fast as India is growing, considering the fact that the base
number of India's is less.

IRDA writes new norms for insurance agents, Will this prevent mis-selling by
agents?

IRDA writes norms - "No dearth of regulatory in India, but lack of implementing
the regulations leads to the misuse of law. We should concentrate more on
implementation, as agents will innovate some or other means to mis-sell the
products"
