Drugs addiction- a threat to one’s life

I would start saying that drugs don’t really represent a threat to my life. I don’t know or , better said,
I don’t know if I know persons who take drugs, but I can definitely assert that my closest friends and
my family don’t have this serious problem .

All I can say about this subject is just from what I heard, or saw .

Actually I took part last year in a project called “Choose! It’s your right”, and at the national stage I
saw some very interesting projects from children between 14—19 years, projects who showed that
exists some persons who really cared about this serious problem. But in some circumstances I’m
afraid that the addicts, the persons who really need this help are not listening to what those people
are saying, maybe because most of them represents just boring lists or essays about what they
shouldn’t do . The most important well-known, two reasons are the entourage and the problems or
the lack of attention from the family . And here should be insisted.

Talking about the effects after this ” incredible journey”, in my opinion, besides the problems
regarding their health, the most serious one is that they create their own world, where drugs
represent the centre of their wishes, their absolut happiness, and they don’t realise the pain they
cause to their family, to their friends ; definetely one can suffer because of the drugs, not by using
them, just by watching our so loved persons how they ruine their lives, and maybe in some
situations, someones don’t get the real help
