My mother tongue

Mother tongue is the first language learned by a person , usually in childhood, in the family
entourage, that can be different from the official language of the country .My mother
tongue is Romanian .It is a very beautiful language that is spoken by over 24 million people
especially in Romania and Republic of Moldova. It is a language full love ,passion and full of
mistery

Since the first moments of life, my hearing was spoiled by Romanian language, spoken by
my parents. In this language I said for the first time mother and father, and they answered
me in the same language. I express myself using it :I learned to say when I'm hungry, when
I'm good and when I'm sick. Later, using the language I began to discover the world, and to
understand it , to imagine it in a lot of ways.

Romanian retains a significant number of features of old Latin and also contains words taken
from the surrounding Slavic languages. Generally if someone want to speak Romanian and
he already knows a Latin language it will be very easy for him or she to learn it because is
just like Spanish or Italian but with small differences

When I was a child Romanian language was only an instrument through I was connecting
with other people around me, but with time it became my homeland. It is common place
where I can understand parents, brothers, and mine acquaintances and friends .I know
better how to feel, to love, to dream, to think and pray in Romanian .Clearly it became a
part of my identity and I am proud of that.
