    2011 RI TSA

    Middle School
    Computer Aided Drafting Competition

    Task
    A student or a team of students will have 6 hours to complete this drawing after receiving it from an instructor.
    The drawing can be done with any cad software package and MUST follow the criteria below.

    Criteria
    1. 3 – View orthographic drawing w/ isometric view in top right.
    2. Drawing must be in English units and 3 place decimals only.
    3. Drawing must be in “Third Angle” Projection.
    4. Drawing must utilize all ANSI “Line types” and “Symbols” effectively and properly.
    5. All dimensions, notes and labels necessary.
    6. Drawing must be on an ANSI A size sheet with proper title block for a mechanical drawing and fully
    completed.
    7. Students, School and Instructor names MUST appear in title block.
    8. Drawing must be folded properly and presented at the day of the event for judging and display.
